Make flyer ads for yourself.
Leave them at churchs, stores, ...Is there any teenage babysitters out there (like16,17,or18years) i need some advice about getting started?
newspaper classifieds
you could start by looking on the internet for people who need babysitters. or you can look in the newspaper. they sometimes have things in there.
I'm 12 and I have multiple clients. I used what I had which was people around me. My mom gets her hair done so i asked her hair dresser. The man that fixes our TV's (we are under construction so he is here a lot and we've known him) has 2 kids under 6 and I asked him and my parents get massages and both of the ladies have children. Hope I helped.
tell them that u have worked at a daycare for 5 years and love kids when parents here that u love to play with kids and get along good they think it's great because you won't get annoyed at them or anything get started with telling parents around your neighborhood ur looking for babysitting jobs and chances are you'll get a job
well if your mom had her own daycare make up posters and hang them up around the local grocery stores, laundry mats, ect.. put your moms # down on the paper explaining that you worked with her in daycare and you have the experience. And when people call she can basically be a reference to you
You can try looking for a babysitter job on http://www.novelbid.com.
It works better than sites like craigslist imo.
what you could do i look for people that live by you and see if they have kids and if they do go over and be friendly. start a convo and after a while change the subject to there kids and ask them if they ever got time alone and then tell them that if they ever needed to have a babysitter that you could help because you love kids and you have worked with them for five years and soon those people would tell there friends about you and you would get even more business.
It is always a good ideas of starting with the people that you know of. Always inform someone, where you be babysitters, call them once you reach the place and before you go off from the place.
